Please Join the Residents, Families and Staff of Madonna Manor in Supporting Our TroopsThe Cities of Villa Hills and Crescent Springs have adopted the Alpha Battery and the Gulf Battery of the 1/320 Field Artillery Regiment, 101st Airborne Division based at Ft. Campbell, Kentucky. This is the third deployment for both batteries. So as we prepare to celebrate our freedom this 4th of July and all of the blessings that come with it, please join us in showing our support for the men and women who are fighting for our freedom by participating in this project. Many civic and school groups who contribute regularly are not meetng during the summer months. Therefore, our support is necessary to ensure a regular shipment of items to our brave forces. Below is a list of items that are most needed and appreciated by the troops. Please bring your contributions to Madonna Manor anytime during regular business or visiting hours until July 9, 2008. Items may be placed in the bins labeled "Support Our Troops" located near the main entrance to Personal Care and in the main Dining Room. Messages are also very much appreciated. So, there is a poster located on the bulletin board outside of the activity office on which you can write a personal message. This poster will be included with the shipment. Many of you have served our country or have family currently serving. All of us benefit from the commitment and sacrifice of these individuals. So join with us in doing our small part to make their lives a little brighter. The following is a list of items that these brave men and women can use during hot summer days when the temperatures reach 130 to 140 degrees. And remember, the soldiers are wearning 70lbs of gear!
