Resident Services

Resident Services helps provide a warm, caring environment for each of our residents. Our staff reaches out to residents and their families to provide meaningful activities, social services and individual pastoral care.

Pastoral Ministry

Pastoral care staff addresses the individual spiritual needs of our residents and the Madonna Manor community by planning and coordinating:

• Mass in the Chapel
• Communion service
• Resident visits
• Hospital visitation and Sacrament of the Sick

In addition to Sunday mass at 11:00 am, special services are also held in our chapel for:

• Recitation of the Rosary
• Benediction
• Stations of the Cross
• Lent, Holy Week and Easter
• Advent and Christmas

Funeral planning is available for families of departed loved ones of Madonna Manor. Services may be held in our chapel at the family’s request. For further information please contact the Resident Services Department at 859-341-3981.

Social Services

Staff assists residents in obtaining appointments and needed services, such as:

• Lifeline
• Meals on Wheels
• Transportation to medical appointments
• Patient care review
• Consultation with resident and family
• Resident Council
• Volunteer coordination
• Community service opportuntities

Activities

The activities department plans special and daily activities for residents and their families. Every effort is made to keep our residents as active and involved as they choose to be. Activities include:

• Outings and trips to cultural and entertainment venues
• Shopping and dining out
• Family holiday dinners, parties and picnics
• Bingo, discussion groups, cards and large group activities
• Individualized resident-centered activities
• Ceramics, arts and crafts, and other creative projects
• Fitness activities
• Lift-equipped bus to safely transport residents off-site
